,  a NEW Autumn 26"  Rag Quilt Candle Mat or Table Centerpiece. This
Mat has 8
Slices or Patches consisting of 3 layers: Cotton Top, Flannel Center and Cotton Back that are machine quilted together, than the slices or patches are sewn together and the seams clipped to create the "ragged" look. A  Circle of contrasting fabric is sewn to the center so you can set a Candle or Trinket on it or just leave it plain.
Mat has 8 Patches in 2 different Fall Prints  and a contrasting Tonal center.

COLOR: Gold, Rust, Brown, Burnt Orange
This Mat has been washed once to start the ragging process. The clipped edges will continue to get fluffier each time you wash it. Different types of Fabrics are used in making the Mats. These Fabrics have a different rate of shrinkage when washed which creates the wonderful puckers and crinkles, just like the vintage Quilts these are patterned after.

We have a Non-Smoking - Dog Loving Home, but the Dogs are Management and don't help me sew.
