Lot/3 Belleek China Luster Nested Cleary Shell Open Salt Bowls 3rd 5th 6th Mark

Here is an
assembled set
of three Belleek open salt bowls. I have seen these bowls referred to as being from the Cleary line, and have also seen these referred to as being from the Shell line. I do not know which is correct. These three bowls have three different Belleek marks. One is marked with the 3rd Mark, a black mark used between 1926 and 1946, one has the The largest dish has the 5th Mark, a green mark used between 1955 and 1965, and the tiniest one has the 6th Mark, also green, used between 1965 and 1980.
The two larger bowls actually nest snugly, with the larger one measuring 1-7/8 inches and 5-1/8 inches tall, and the smaller measuring
1-7/8 inches tall and 4-7/8 inches long. They would have been pretty large master salts, but they can also hold condiments, sauces, nuts, and candy.
They are also both luster tinted on the inside, and are also tinted on the outside along the bottom where the coral is molded into the design of the bowl.  You can best see the luster in the photos of the bowls turned upside down.
The smallest bowl is an individual open salt cellar. It measures
1-1/8 inches tall and 2 inches long. It does not have any luster tinting. What it does have is excellent detail, especially in the coral where there are tiny circles not visible in the two large tinted bowls.
All three bowls are in excellent pre owned condition with no chips, flakes, bites, nicks or cracks. Please be sure and look through the photos for a more accurate description of the condition.

Important Shipping information: We ship via priority mail and use priority mail boxes.  We package in the highest grade materials including new, previously unused bubble wrap and styrofoam peanuts.  We include Insurance in the shipping estimate.  If we have a brown box that the item will fit into, we will ship via parcel post or first class mail if you ask.  We understand that shipping costs can be expensive.  We do our best to minimize the cost but if you email us before bidding or paying, we will do whatever we can to work with you.
Insurance is included in shipping cost.
Payment is expected within 3 days of close of auction. Shipments are generally made within 2 days of receipt of payment.
