Golden State Country Bluegrass Festival mini-poster from 1974

Description

Though attractive, this poster was produced in a tiny format, perhaps meant as a handout. It measures 5 1/2 x 8 1/4 inches, offset printed one side on card stock. As the design indicates, it promoted major country and bluegrass talent in a blow-out show in 1974. Performers included Vassar Clemnts, Doc and Merle Watson, Ralph Stanley, Merle Travis, John Hartford, and many other talents. The artist credit: Rick Shubb. This copy is in very good shape, but it does have a visible fold mark in the lower left corner, likely from a mishap during storage.
