Up for sale is a 3 pack of genuine E3D Silicone Socks Pro. These socks are a fantastic way to keep your heater block and nozzle clean and neat. These silicone socks grip onto genuine E3D heater blocks and do not allow filament to stick to the block. Over time while printing without a sock, the heater block will touch filament which will slowly keep layering onto the block until it touches your print and ruins the entire print! With these socks, any filament that touches the block or nozzle will not stick.
Another great feature of the socks is that they help insulate the heater block. This could mean faster heating cycles, and also means your print will not be exposed to as hot of a block as it normally would radiate the heat near your print. These small improvements can help extend the life of your heater block, and help print quality.
These socks are rated up to 300c per the manufacturer. Do not use these socks at temperatures over 300c. Three (3) socks are included in this purchase. At normal operating temperatures these socks have a very good lifespan. These socks will most likely fit on E3D V6 heater block clones (As long as they are the same style and dimensions as the genuine ones), however I can only guarantee that they will fit the Genuine E3D V6 Heater block.
