This bat is as hot as it comes for a legal bat. They just got banned from Perfect Game events as the ball jumps off the barrel, but allowed in NCS, USSSA and other sanctioned travel ball events. This bat hits absolute nukes!
This is my sons bat and he has aged up and starting to use a BBCOR bat. This exact bat makes the highly desired “pong” sound that only comes off these bats when they are very hot and fully broken in. Some of these bats never end up making this sound but the really good ones do. My sons 31/26 of the same bat does not have the same pop or same desired sound. The sound is similar to a shaved bat, yet it is not shaved. You are getting a really good one with many memories being used for high level travel baseball.
There are no cracks but a faint rattle from a piece of composite (you need to put your ear to the bat and turn it upside down to hear it). The grip is in good condition. There is slight webbing which happens when a bat is fully broken in. He does not use this bat for BP and a bat this caliber will last if only used in games. Your biggest challenge will be all the other players will want to use it as well.
